Update

DIY Blogger House Daybreak.jpg

So, over the last few months I have been an absentee blogger.  There have been many reasons for that, one of which was thinking about a new approach for my website and blog, the others are mainly connected with what's been going on in my personal life.

Over the next few posts I will try and bring you up to speed with what's been happening and upload some projects I've been working on.

Some may already know that we have moved house.  We literally moved up the road - same street, different number.  For some reason people find this confusing.  The house we moved into is much newer and much, much warmer AND there's not a yellow wall in sight!  I'll try to upload some photos of the inside in a later post.  Part of what has been keeping me so busy is making it feel like home.  Also, my two new babies have been running me ragged.

Back to what's happening with my website.  I have been thinking long and hard about what direction I want it to go and whether the reason I originally established it is still valid - not really as I'm no longer travelling overseas.  This brought me to consider whether I wanted to continue it and I've decided that I do, I just want to take it somewhere else.  For those of you who follow me for gluten free recipes and and food, don't worry there will still be lots of new recipes being uploaded. However, I'd like to make it more about every day living and my real life.  A big part of my real life is making wherever I'm living a home so there will be quite a bit of that and some DIY tips.  Recently I've made an ottoman, a bed skirt and some other goodies so you can keep an eye out for some tutorials!

Basically, I've decided to reinvent the site so watch this space!

In the meantime, I'm going to leave you with a photo of a house I've absolutely fallen in love with.  Unfortunately, it's in Utah so I won't be owning it but I can dream.  Isn't it beautiful? The link to the site is here if you want to read more about it.

Have a fantastic day and I hope that you drool as much over this house as I have.
