Armageddon 2014

Not sure who these two are supposed to be but they looked amazing.

NOT SURE WHO THESE TWO ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BUT THEY LOOKED AMAZING.

Wow, it's been ages!  Life has been crazy busy.  I've had lots of ideas to blog about but just not the time to blog!  So, I thought it was high time I got back to this and showed you at least some of what we've been up to.

Firstly, there was Armaggedon.  As you know, if you've been reading my blog for a while, my family loves to dress up.  Armaggedon is always a great chance to do just that and the lead up is always crazy in my house with sewing and all kinds of odd goings on.

The family that dresses up together stays together is our family motto!

THE FAMILY THAT DRESSES UP TOGETHER STAYS TOGETHER IS OUR FAMILY MOTTO!

This year was all about Steam Punk.  You will remember on our South Island Tour we visited the Steam Punk Museum in Oamaru.  This inspire all the Armaggedon costumes this year.  We had Steam Punk Flash (Andy), Steam Punk Beetlejuice (Jenna), Steam Punk Arrow (Jesse), Steam Punk Riddler (Ethan) and Steam Punk Poison Ivy (Jacqui). I actually only managed to attend one day this year as I had course work (among other things) to do.

By the time I went on Monday, Andy was pretty tired so we really spent the day listening to the panels which is always interesting.  We added to our celebrity photo wall by having our photos taken with Christopher Judge (Stargate fame) and the Arrow panel.

Andy was extremely popular with the little kids and so many of them asked to have their photos taken with him.
