For the past six weeks I have been stuck at home, unable to drive. The reasons for this inability to drive are long winded bureaucratic bumbling involving the insurance company and lack of an Ontario drivers' license which I won't go into details about.
Well, today I sat and passed my road test and I am now the proud owner of a (temporary) Ontario Full G Class drivers' license. The real one will arrive in 6-8 weeks.
I'm feeling very pleased with myself that I have managed to attain one of these very much sought after pieces of plastic and even more pleased that I can now leave the house, on my own and go wherever I damned well please.
I'm also now able to do the school drop off and pick up which I have been missing.
There'll be no stopping me now!
